Connect and Learn: Autism Insight Sessions 2024/25
These are monthly sessions with a specific focus on a theme, chosen by a group of our Primary and Post-Primary SENCos. The sessions last one hour, starting with a 20-minute presentation, followed by questions and answers and are open to all Primary and Post-Primary school staff.

Wednesday 12th March 2025 (2.30pm – 3.30pm) – Autism and EBSNA CLOSED
Wednesday 2nd April 2025 (2.30pm – 3.30pm) – Reframing Autism CLOSED
Wednesday 21st May (2.30pm – 3.30pm) – Supporting P7 to Year 8 transition
Thursday 26th September 2024 (2.00pm – 3.00pm) – Supporting the sensory needs of pupils in Primary school CLOSED
Thursday 24th October 2024 (2.00pm – 3.00pm) – Using social narratives to support pupils in Primary school CLOSED
Thursday 28th November 2024 (2.00pm – 3.00pm) – Supporting Primary school pupils during the Christmas period CLOSED

Thursday 19th September 2024 (3.00pm – 4.00pm) - Supporting the transfer from Primary to Post-Primary CLOSED
Monday 21st October 2024 (3.00pm – 4.00pm) - Autism and girls in the Post-Primary environment – Professional Learning for Post-Primary school staff CLOSED
Thursday 28th November 2024 (2.00pm – 3.00pm) - Setting up a social skills group in Post-Primary CLOSED
Please register your interest by booking your place on the appropriate session for your setting i.e. PRIMARY or POST-PRIMARY and submit any general enquiries within 7 days before the event date.
During the registration process you will be invited to list any relevant questions you may wish to have answered throughout each session - please use the ‘Any Other Info’ field to do so.
Each event will take place via MS Teams and the links will be issued via e-mail by the course administrator at least 7 days before the event date.
* In order to ensure availability to as many settings as possible registrations are limited to 1 or 2 from each school *
