Aims and Learning Outcomes:

To outline the current legislation and related documentation for SEN in the school setting;
To clarify the roles and responsibilities of all key stakeholders within the SEN framework;
To understand how schools, use the three stages of special educational provision within the Code of Practice;
To discuss some of the operational aspects of the SENCo role and how to plan and manage these in school.
