Aims and Learning Outcomes:

To raise awareness of the statutory duties placed upon schools within the legislation of the SEND Act (NI) 2016 which relate specifically to the PLP
To raise awareness of effective practice in creating, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the PLP and involving pupils and parents in this process
To discuss sharing the PLP and seeking consent to share it with another school
To provide schools with PLP training and guidance materials to support them in the initial implementation of the PLP
