Dr Caitlin Donnelly from the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work (SSESW) at Queen's University will explore the concept of school ethos. In her presentation, she will unpack the relationship between ethos, vision and values, and explain how these elements can work together to create a cohesive and purposeful educational environment. The session will offer practical steps for embedding an ethos of inclusion and equity into daily school practices, supported by real-world examples and actionable strategies. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the role of ethos in fostering equity, diversity and well-being and learn how to engage all stakeholders in the development and sustainability of a positive school ethos.
