Community of Lifesavers TPL Refresher Training Pilot 2024-2025

PILOT REFRESHER TRAINING FOR TEACHERS WHO WERE TRAINED JANUARY 2023 - MAY 2023 TO DELIVER CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) TRAINING AND AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) AWARENESS TO PUPILS

As a member of the first cohort of teachers trained by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to deliver the Community of Lifesavers Education Programme, you are invited to attend one day of refresher training. This training will be face to face.

The morning session will focus on recapping and refreshing the practical and essential CPR and AED lifesaving skills, with the afternoon dedicated to sharing practice and planning for the implementation of the programme in your context.

Sub-cover will be provided and schools  will be reimbursed after attendance (when booking a supply teacher on NISTR choose - Miscellaneous School Charge/Cost).

If you no longer deliver this programme in your school, please do not attend.

Applications will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
