To provide an overview of supporting inclusion for young people with down syndrome in post primary mainstream settings.
To highlight some of the characteristic difficulties young people with down syndrome have in relation to learning.
To provide practical classroom strategies that can be implemented in order to overcome barriers to learning for young people with Down syndrome.
