AIMS:
• Provide an overview of the profile of a child with Moderate Learning Difficulties.
• Discuss barriers to learning for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties. • Support participants with identifying targets and target-setting for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties.
• Discuss strategies and examples of effectively differentiated Numeracy and Literacy activities.
• Discuss strategies to develop and support memory skills.
• Discuss strategies to promote social inclusion and emotional well-being.
• Highlight good practice in order to achieve inclusive classroom environments for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties in mainstream Post-primary settings.
Course Details:
The training is divided into approximately four 30-minute pre-recorded videos and participants can view each session in their own time.
