AAIS EARLY YEARS Parents Training

AUDIENCE

Each session is specifically designed for PARENTS of PRE-SCHOOL children.

COURSE DETAILS

Maximum 30 places available per date.  Bookings can only be accepted from parents and carers who have not yet participated in previous sessions (October - December 2024)

The training course will be online via TEAMS – the link will be issued by the Training Co-ordinator in advance

SESSION 1 - Overview of Autism and the use of Visual Strategies

• To develop a knowledge and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder

• To demonstrate the use of visual strategies in supporting children with ASD

SESSION 2 -The Development of Play Skills in Children with ASD

Date & Time – Tuesday 11th March 2025 10.00am – 11.30am

• Understanding the importance of play skills and how to develop these skills in children with ASD

SESSION 3 - Supporting Sensory Needs at Home

Date & Time – Tuesday 15th April 2025 10.00am – 11.30am
