Access Arrangements for Primary Pupils with Literacy Difficulties

AIMS:

• To examine access arrangements and the principles behind their existence.
• To highlight a range of access arrangements which may be appropriate for some primary pupils experiencing learning difficulties.
• To discuss the regulations that govern the administration of access arrangements in the CAT4, PTE, PTM, NGRT and the SEAG entrance exams.
• To provide signposting to online resources which may prove helpful for primary school staff in relation to access arrangements.
