To improve the skills of Pre-school leaders to manage SEND, enabling them to put processes in place to support the pupils in their settings.
Discuss key legislation and resources in relation to SEND and outline the roles and responsibilities of staff,
Explore the self-evaluation and action planning process to reflect, identify and prioritise areas for improvement,
Raise awareness in developing effective Individual Education Plan (IEP) / Personal Learning Plans (PLP) and explore ways to involve pupils and parents in the process.
