Supporting Autistic Children and Young People with Severe Learning Difficulties

Aims: 

A session tailored to provide strategies and resources to support autistic pupils with severe learning difficulties within the classroom setting.

Course Content:

This session has been specifically developed to support the following;

• To explore sensory integration of Autisic Pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties
• To look at challenging behaviour in Autisic Pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties
• To provide an overview of executive function of Autisic Pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties
• To highlight the challenges of anxiety in Autisic Pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties

Course Duration:

• A 40 Minute Session

Target Audience

• All staff supporting autistic pupils with severe learning difficulties
